One of the highest rated tracks in New York State, LaFayette Motorsports Park offers a reconfigurable half mile outdoor circuit. The circuit is equipped with a drainage system to ensure fast drying after wet weather.
It should be noted that this track does not offer rental karts, and is for those who already own a kart to take part in events and the hosted challenge trophy series. So serious racers only!
There is also a fully stocked Kart shop with J3 competition gear and accessories, they are also a fully authorized dealer of Rotax Kart Engines.

2. Sprint Speedway
Sprint Speedway, based in Olean NY, offer sprint cars and family cars at this circuit alongside other attractions such as batting cages and putt putt. More geared towards family days out this busy track nevertheless offers a fun excursion for some family racing.

3. Oakland Valley Race Park
Branding itself as “real race karts for real racers” Oakland Valley Race Park offers a 3/4 mile outdoor track with top speeds hitting 50mph.
There are CRG Senior and Mini karts available so racers of all skill levels can take to the track. As part of their packages they offer full timing and tracking service, club racing and karting lessons. Corporate events and private hire options are also available.

4. Autobahn Indoor Speedway
Autobahn Indoor Speedway offers an indoor track with top speeds of up to 50mph (25mph for Juniors) with European style karts. They do provide everything you need in terms of safety equipment but check out our article on “What to wear Go-Karting” if you have any doubts.
They also offer the option for school field trips with their “Autobahn Indoor Speedway STEM Academy” which gives students through grades 3-12, a learning experience that teaches how multiple subject areas intersect with racing.

RPM Raceways have a number of tracks in the New York State area, but we will focus on their Long Island venue. This facility offers two 1/4 mile tracks with a number of full hairpin turns, which they combine into a full 1/2 mile track every Monday.
